DetailsEASTON, PA _ Lafayette opened the home portion of its schedule with a 90-81 loss to Robert Morris.
Bryce Scott notched a game-high 25 points. Dan Trist paired his 18 points with 12 rebounds to record his first-career double-double. Junior Seth Hinrichs added 16 points, while Joey Ptasinski knocked down four threes en route to 15 points.
Trist and Scott combined for seven of the game_s first nine points before the Colonials went on a 10-2 run. Lafayette went into the half down one, but came out in the second half with a 20-8 run. Ptasinski scored eight straight points to give the Maroon and White a nine-point cushion five minutes into the half. Robert Morris clawed its way back scoring 20 of the final 28 points to secure the win.
